A six-person spa weighs several hundred pounds empty and is wider than every gate on the property. We drain what is left, take it apart on the patio, cut the shell into sections that fit through the side gate, and haul all of it away, including the foam.
Tell us what needs to go. We usually reply within a few hours.
That is the expectation, and it is almost never how it goes. A spa is an acrylic shell, a timber frame, a cabinet skirt, a loom of plumbing and wiring, and a cavity full of sprayed foam. Removing one means taking it apart in that order.
Two things have to happen before we start. The water has to be out, since a full spa is carrying over a ton of it. And the power has to be off. A plug-in 120-volt tub just gets unplugged. A hard-wired 240-volt tub needs a licensed electrician to disconnect it first, and we will tell you so on the phone rather than turn up and be unable to start.
Hot tubs are quoted on site, not by phone. The teardown is predictable. The route out, meaning gate width, steps and how far the truck can get, is not. You still get a firm number before we cut anything.
More detail in our guide: Hot tub removal: why it takes longer than you think.
We take what regular waste management refuses — mattresses, tires, paint, carpet, hot tubs. The only hard no is asbestos, medical or biohazard waste and explosives, which legally need licensed handling.
Rarely because it is brand new. Usually it has been sitting there a while.
The heater or the pump went, and the repair quote was more than the tub was worth. It has been a planter since.
A dead spa on the patio puts buyers off. Clearing it before listing photos is common.
The spa sits right where the new project goes. We clear it so the contractor can start.
The new one is arriving and the old one has to be gone first. We coordinate with the delivery date.
Same sequence as a spa, just bigger: drain, take apart, haul out the liner, walls and frame.
Came with the property, nobody wanted it, nobody knows how old it is. Very common.
Three stages, and the first one is the one that saves you money.
Gravity draining through the valve can take a couple of hours. Let chlorinated water sit a few days and drain to a sewer clean-out or across lawn, not into a storm drain.
Cover off, panels off, pump and heater out, frame cut down, shell cut into sections. We contain the foam as we go so you are not picking it out of the grass for a week.
Carried out in sections, loaded, and the slab swept. You are left with an empty patio.
Quoted on site, because the size of the job depends on the route out as much as the item itself. The price is firm before we start, and if you do not like it we leave and you owe nothing.
Family owned since 2022, 1,000+ jobs completed, and a five-star average we would rather protect than trade away.
Call before noon and we can usually be there the same afternoon, seven days a week, 7am to 8pm.
A written number on site before anything moves. No fuel surcharge, no stairs fee, no renegotiation mid-load.
