Harold came prepared with his truck and a worker to get the junk sitting in my yard hauled away. They worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. Will def use this service again!
For the times the Town's monthly bulk Saturday does not fit: the pile is too big, the date is weeks away, or it is a barn, not a bedroom. We load it and haul it the same week, often the same day.
Tell us what needs to go. We usually reply within a few hours.
Coral Springs Junk Removal is a family-owned Broward County crew that works in the Town of Davie seven days a week, 7am to 8pm. We price by how much room your load takes in the truck, starting at $99, with most jobs under $599, and you get a firm number on site before we lift anything. If your pile fits the Town's free monthly bulk pickup, use it. Call us when it does not.

Davie runs from the NSU and college district by College Avenue out to the acreage lots west of Flamingo Road. We work all of it, including the horse properties along the Town's equestrian trails, where the junk is usually fencing, lumber and old outbuildings rather than furniture. A few of these ZIPs are shared with Plantation, Weston and Fort Lauderdale; we serve those too.
Davie has a decent free bulk program. Almost every call we get from the Town is about one of the ways it stops working.
Bulk only runs once a month, and you cannot put anything out before the Sunday prior. A sofa does not want to live on the porch until then.
Anything over 15 cubic yards, or a pile that merged with the neighbor's, gets a sticker instead of a pickup.
Missed the truck? You have one week to clear the swale before it becomes a code issue.
Buildings with dumpsters get bulk four times a year. A move-out does not wait for the quarter.
Plenty of Davie communities set stricter rules than the Town. Then the only option is hauling it straight out.
Rotted fence boards, old tack-room shelving, a collapsed run-in shed. That is a truckload, not a bulk pile.
What the work actually looks like in Davie, and how we handle the parts that trip people up.
The Town will not take one at the curb until a certified tech has removed the Freon and the doors are sealed or removed. We haul them as they are and route them to a processor licensed to recover the refrigerant.
Fencing, lumber, old feed bins, collapsed sheds. We bring the truck as close as the ground allows and carry the rest.
If a cleanout has grown past 15 yards, we take the whole thing in one visit rather than splitting it across months of zone Saturdays.
We carry from the unit to the truck so nothing sits by the dumpster waiting for the quarterly run.
The most common single-item calls. Both usually fit inside the $99 minimum load. See couch removal and mattress removal.
The Town asks residents not to put bulk out when a storm is coming. If the garage needs clearing before hurricane season, we take it straight to the truck.
The Town contracts bulk collection to Coastal Waste & Recycling. Curbside homes get one pickup a month, on a Saturday assigned to their zone, and the Town's Bulk Trash Locator on davie-fl.gov tells you which one. Items can go to the swale no earlier than the Sunday before. The limit is 15 cubic yards, which the Town describes as about the size of a car, and piles must not be combined with a neighbor's. Glass and mirrors need taping into a sturdy container, wire has to be rolled and tied, and rock or asphalt goes in a hard-bottomed container. Condos and multifamily buildings with dumpsters are on a quarterly schedule instead. It is free, and if your pile fits those rules and the date works, it is the right answer.
If the truck passes you by, the Town asks you to report it within two days. After that you have one week to clear the swale before it can become a code violation. Coastal offers a special pickup at $20.33 per cubic yard, so a 10-yard pile costs about $203 before anyone has to lift it. The other free route is the Broward County drop-off center at 5490 Reese Road in Davie, which is open Saturdays from 9am to 3pm and asks for ID and proof of residency, but you have to load and drive it there yourself. We are the third option: one visit, a firm price on site from $99, and our crew does the carrying.
Davie calls itself Cowboy Town for a reason. A Town-maintained equestrian trail system links neighborhoods, and a lot of western Davie is horse property. The junk on those lots is different: split-rail and board fencing, rotted stall boards, old hay and feed storage, shed kits that did not survive a storm season. Much of it is long, heavy and awkward, and lumber like that does not stack neatly inside a 15-yard bulk pile. We price it by how much room it takes in the truck, the same as anything else, and we tell you before we start if anything on the property needs special handling.
Three real options. Pick the one that fits your pile and your calendar.
| Town bulk pickup | Coral Springs Junk Removal | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Free (special pickup $20.33 per cubic yard) | From $99, most jobs under $599 |
| When | Once a month on your zone Saturday; condos quarterly | Seven days a week, often same day |
| Size limit | 15 cubic yards per pickup | None, we bring more trucks if needed |
| Who carries it out | You, to the swale | Our crew, from wherever it sits |
| Fridges and AC units | Only after Freon is removed by a certified tech | Taken as-is, refrigerant handled by a licensed processor |
| Before a storm | Not allowed at the curb | Hauled straight to the truck |
Short version: if it fits under 15 yards, can wait for your Saturday and needs no special handling, use the Town. If it cannot wait, will not fit, or you cannot carry it, call us.
Tell us roughly what is going and where it sits. Photos help. We give you a time window, not "sometime today".
We look at the load, quote by the space it takes in the truck, and put the number in writing before anything moves.
From wherever it is: upstairs, the garage, the back of the lot. You do not drag anything to the curb.
Usable items go to Broward County charities, metal and electronics get recycled, and only what is spent goes to disposal.
