Harold came prepared with his truck and a worker to get the junk sitting in my yard hauled away. They worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. Will def use this service again!
Miramar's bulk truck comes once a month and turns down a long list: tile, roofing, concrete, tires, electronics. We take those, plus anything that cannot wait for your day.

Coral Springs Junk Removal is a family-owned Broward County crew that handles junk removal in Miramar seven days a week, 7am to 8pm. We take what the city's monthly bulk pickup refuses, including tile, roofing, concrete, tires and electronics, along with furniture, appliances and full cleanouts. Miramar started in the 1950s as a small grid of modest concrete homes east of University Drive, and grew west into large planned communities through the 1990s and 2000s. The jobs differ by side. East Miramar calls tend to be older houses being renovated or cleared out; the western communities like Silver Lakes, Sunset Lakes and Monarch Lakes are more often moves, garages and HOA-governed homes.
Miramar's bulk program is monthly, which is decent. These are the cases where it still leaves people stuck.
Tile, roofing, concrete and brick are all on the refused list, and contractor debris is only taken in small amounts with an active permit.
Set it out more than seven days ahead of your bulk day and you risk code enforcement.
Electronics, tires and auto parts are refused at the curb.
Refrigerators and AC units need a certified Freon-purged placard before the city will take them.
Estate and pre-sale cleanouts in east Miramar are usually more than one month's bulk allowance.
How we handle the jobs Miramar residents call about most.
Tile, old vanities, cabinets and countertops. Loaded the same week the work ends. See construction debris.
Shingles, broken pavers and concrete chunks from patio projects, which the city will not take.
Garage leftovers from years of car projects, hauled together with the rest of the garage.
No placard needed on your end. We route them to a processor licensed to recover refrigerant.
Whole-house clearing, room by room, with usable furniture set aside for Broward charities. See property cleanouts.
One couch, one mattress, one treadmill. Usually inside the $99 minimum load.
Miramar collects curbside bulk once a month, twelve times a year, on a scheduled day for your address, between 7am and 7pm. Items can go out no more than seven days before that day; earlier than that, the owner can face code enforcement. Piles must sit within three feet of the street. Glass has to be in a rigid, taped container, and refrigerators and AC units need a placard from a certified technician showing the Freon has been purged. Waste Pro handles special or missed pickups and dumpster rentals for a charge. For ordinary household bulk that fits those rules, the program is free, and it is worth using.
Miramar will not collect tires, roofing, tile, concrete, brick or stone, auto parts, batteries, paint, chemicals, electronics or hazardous waste at the curb. Contractor debris is accepted only up to three cubic yards, and only with an active city permit. That list covers a lot of what accumulates in South Florida homes: the tile from a bathroom redo, a stack of old pavers, two tires in the side yard, a dead TV. For hazardous waste and electronics, the city runs a free drop-off on the first Saturday of each month from 8am to 2pm at 17200 Pines Boulevard. We take everything on the refused list except true hazardous waste like paint, chemicals and batteries, which belong at that drop-off.
Miramar was founded in the 1950s by A.L. Mailman, who built a small first neighborhood of inexpensive concrete, flat-roofed homes. The city incorporated in 1955 at under three square miles and is now about 31. The population roughly tripled between 1990 and 2010 as the western communities filled in. In practice, east Miramar jobs are more often renovation debris and whole-house cleanouts of homes that have been in a family for decades, while west Miramar jobs lean toward moves, garages and HOA-governed homes where nothing can sit outside for a week.
